You’ll be up and running with your own voice server in no time flat; you don’t need to know IP addresses, port numbers, codecs, or anything about server hosting to use imVOX.
Just install, launch and go.
When you first log in, you’ll be able to easily connect with other users or friends, and set up your own free server (or join and existing one).
Here are a few videos showing imVOX in action:

With Steam, World of Warcraft and OnLive using OS X is more viable than ever for gaming. So why are Mac users treated as second class citizens by other voice chat providers?
imVOX for Mac shares the same code at its heart as imVOX for Windows, so Mac users enjoy the same high quality voice engine and features that Windows users have.
imVOX isn’t just about voice, but rather about making meaningful long term connections with friends through gaming. See what your friends are up to, join in with them, start a game and win together.
Save your fingers for important stuff, like playing the game. In smaller groups you can do live conferencing and lock your mic on. In larger groups or in noisy situations you can use the push to talk option.
Free public and private text chat is built right into the imVOX interface. Some gamers may not have a microphone, or may want to play from a coffeeshop on their lunch hour (ahem). Other situations, like guild dramas, need a private backchannel. Worry not, private text chat is also part of the package.
Everyone says it, but we really mean it when we say we care about our customers. We’re fellow gamers, and built imVOX from the standpoint of what we’d like to see in the marketplace.
We value your feedback, which is one reason we’re offering free (did we say free before?) servers for up to 30 users. Long story short; we’re here for you.
